Problem statement
What was broken in the real operation
VJ Foods tracked raw materials and finished goods across warehouses with paper counts, Excel, and tribal knowledge on the floor. Production planned batches without reliable available inventory. Fulfillment promised ship dates that warehouse reality couldn’t support—creating rush overtime and spoiled or stranded stock.
A food manufacturing operation where inventory isn’t just SKUs—it’s lots, batches, and shelf life. Generic retail inventory tools didn’t fit how they actually produce and ship.
